If you are looking for the real West Coast / Gulf Island experience, Wheatleys is the place to rent. The property is just beautiful with lots of trees and really close to the sea. Especially kids will love it as there is tons of space to play and explore. The main house with it’s picturesque look has a very cosy feel to it. The way it is furnished just makes you feel at home right away. There is enough space and everything you will need is at hand. And the island is great. It is impossible not to relax and forget about work. But we also enjoyed hiking and exploring the island. We had such a great time at Wheatleys and cannot wait to come back. Next time we need to try kayaking. Especially if your visiting Canada for the first time this is the right place to go. You will experience Canda’s Weast Coast at it’s best. Maybe you are even lucky enough to see whales.
