The property is just beautiful with lots of trees and really close to the sea. Especially kids will love it as there is tons of space to play and explore. The main house with it’s picturesque look has a very cosy feel to it. The way it is furnished just makes you feel at home right away. There is enough space and everything you will need is at hand. And the island is great. It is impossible not to relax and forget about work. But we also enjoyed hiking and exploring the island. We had such a great time at Wheatleys and cannot wait to come back. Next time we need to try kayaking. Especially if your visiting Canada for the first time this is the right place to go. You will experience Canda’s Weast Coast at it’s best. Maybe you are even lucky enough to see whales.

Wenn Sie die West Küste Kanadas mit all ihrer ursprünglichen Natur auf einer der Gulf Inseln erleben wollen, ist Wheatleys genau das Richtige für Sie. Das Grundstück mit all seinen Bäumen ist  wunderschön und sehr nahe am Meer gelegen. Kinder werden es lieben, weil es viel Platz zum Spielen und Erforschen gibt. Das malerische Haupthaus ist wunderbar gemütlich. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Es gibt viel Platz und alles, was man benötigt, ist vorhanden. Auch die Insel ist toll. Man muss sich dort einfach entspannen und kann die Arbeit völlig vergessen. Wir hatten aber auch viel Spaß die Insel zu Fuß zu erkunden. Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit in diesem Ferienhaus und können es kaum erwarten, mal wieder dorthin zu fahren. Das nächste Mal müssen dann Kajaken probieren. Wenn man zum ersten Mal an die kanadische Westküste fährt, wird man sie hier wirklich erleben. Vielleicht hat man sogar Glück und bekommt einen Wal zu Gesicht.

We didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and will absolutely go back.

Anytime of year is great at the Wheatley house – we have stayed in both the spring and summer months. We had a fabulous time – we strolled down to the dock, grilled on the deck, went to the spa down the road and had cozy fires at night!

the secondary cottage which was perfect for a secondary family.  Our kids loved the property, especially the special kids house in the garden.  We can’t wait to go back!
